My family (wife,2 daughters ages 10 & 12)just returned from our first canoe trip to the BWCA.We spent 6 days on Daniels lake.Fishing was very good for smallmouth.Everybody got fish when we could get on the water.We were wind bound 2 days and it rained 2 days.Saw a mink swim right by us as we were sitting by the shore and had moose tracks right in front of our camp.I enjoyed watching it rain as I listened to my family laugh as they played cards in the tent.Three friends and I are going up to do the Man chain in early Sept.Hope it stays a little drier.
