You have not ingested aluminum enough to onset full alzheimers, there has been studies linking the two. I'm not sure the heating quality of Titanium ( conductivity and the evenness of the spreading of heat) but you will not find a more durable product/ounce than Titanium. Stainless is just as durable but has many undesirable features besides weight, it does not spread heat very well and its conductivity is low. That is why you will find the better home/commercial cooking equipment being clad in a cooper bottom which spreads heat evenly and conducts heat well. Cooper like many other metals will become toxic to certain foods when heated or exposed to air, it may range from just darkening or making the food's color off it may also turn food poisonous. Personally I would get the titanium, due to its lite-weightness it may cost upfront more but its durablity will/should pay for it self. Just don't try and sodder your bucket it may become lethal....
