Re: Aluminum pots + dogs

Thanks guys. Your varied perspectives are greatly appreciated. I'm glad I asked. I don't have enough time anymore (to do it right) so I'm going up with the old pot one more time. Except this time when I return I'm going to make it a point to use your suggestions and insights to replace it before I forget.

Ryeman: That cleaning idea sounds ingenious. I'm guessing it's not a panacea, but do you think it would help on something like seriously carbonized Apple Cobbler? (Before I get out the drill and the wire brush :)

Since most of you who responded to my past dog question answered this one too; if you were wondering: He would much rather be IN the water than on it. He's alright when he's in the canoe but he's still not coming along. His love for the water in combination with bug juice would cause a big chemical slick around any place we stopped. I even considered September or October, but then he (we) would freeze. Though I will take him swimming again. He loves it. I wish I were that happy to be wet.
