You have picked a great route for fishing. Lac La Croix is an excellent fishing lake. I have had good luck fishing walleyes, bass and northerns in Iron Lake. The Crooked lakes also offer great fishing for smallmouth, walleyes and northerns. I've camped in a channel between Friday Bay and Thursday Bay and had good luck fishing the channels and the shorline of Friday Bay. I never had as much luck in Wednesday Bay. Someday I'll fly in that route too. I'm getting to old to paddle and portage that far. Good Luck!!
