I am planning a canoe trip to Quetico in late August 2000 (I know it's early, but my trips in Algonquin, Kilarney, etc. are getting boring). I would prefer to begin on the North side of the park and I would like a loop staying within Canada. My four avid Canoe-tripping friends and I make regular jaunts into the wilderness and we are not adverse to long portages, swamps or large lakes; however, we are looking to travel in the most topographically interesting areas of the park. I am a sucker for rocks and enjoy a nice vista. I would welcome specific comments as to the Falls Chain or Kahshahpiwi lake. Having never been to Quetico, could somebody please make some suggestions for us. Posted by Gorp on October 27, 1999 at 21:39 |
