I'm planning a trip in May to the McKenzie lake area. We are entering a Prairie Portage up thru Knife lake.
I'm wondering what the area is like on the Wawiag River. Portages and water conditions.We plan to go up thru Mack lake down the Wawiag into Kawnipi lake. We've also considered looping back up into McKenzie lake, Ferguson lake back out Cache River. In looking for portage, campsite, and water condition information. Thanks Greg
