I don't have the "Feather Lite", but do have a "regular" Peak 1 with the built in tank. I like it fine. I also have the plastic carrying case for it. I carry it in my wannigan. I cook on a fire about 50% of the time when I can. For a group of 4 for one week, I only need the fuel in the tank. I do, however, take a separate, one pint fuel bottle and a funnel in case of fire ban or we happen to use the stove more for whatever reason. I've never had a leaking problem nor any problem in its operation. With this "full-size" version, I am also able to adjust the flame pretty well. This may be a little big/heavy for back packing, but I think it's fine for canoe camping. Posted by Ken E.
