We're planning our trip for next year. We want to visit after Labor Day (for a variety of reasons).

Anybody know how to buy a fishing license if the Ranger Station is closed?

Can they be purchased by mail or must we drive to Canada, buy the license, then return to the Gunflint or Ely?
