Posted a similar message a few months ago when we were planning our June trip into Quetico for this year. We decided on the Cache Bay to Falls Chain route for the scenery. Had several also recommend Agnes Lake...something about the color of the water and scenery there being outstanding. Understand there is a great campsite on Rose Island on Kawnipi...not to mention some of the best walley and northern fishing in the world on that lake to boot. Understand, I haven't been there yet...but that is what several vets have suggested. You might also call some of the area outfitters, I have found all of them very willing to suggest routes and trip information regardless whether I rent or buy anything from them...all very helpful.
