The portage is easily found on the northeastern end of Argo,it has a sandy beach and a camp beside it. It has couple hills but they're not to bad. I don't remember exactly and I don't have map handy but it is well over 100 rods but it's a good portage. If you put in and paddle up on the eastern shoreline of Darkey you will find some of the best pictograghs in the Q. jim
