Re: Beaverhouse Entry to Moose Lake

I completed a trans Quetico trip last summer. We went south to north to put the odds of a tail wind in our favor, only had to paddle into the wind for a couple of hours. We did the trip in 7 days. You're doing a few more miles so I would add a day or two. We entered at Moose and exited at Nym.
If you take the S-chain you'll also miss most of the pictographs in the southern part of Agnes. I realize these aren't important to some people. However one of the sites is petroglyphs and they are the only instance of these in the park.
We found a guy in Atikokan to ferry us back to our start point. He worked for an outfitter but did this as kind of a freelance thing. I think it cost us $150 or $200.
