While I don't have as much experience as some on this board I to am trying to make up for lost time.My favorite campsites would be a toss up between 2 last summer.The first on Daniels lake with my family where I sat outside under the tarp on a cold rainy day and was warmed on the inside by the sounds of laughter inside the tent as my wife taught my 2 daughters card games.The second was later in sept. when I went with 3 friends to Quetico where we spent a week camped on a narrow peninsula just before the portage to slate lake the laughter,good times,good food and even the night we stayed under the tarp to wait out a pretty intense T-storm could not dampen our spirits in such an incredibly beautiful place.
