Dave, Requires 2 frying pans, one a little smaller than the other (like I said earlier posts - we travel a little heavy, but we like to make a big deal out of meals). Mix the batter just as you would for bisquits at home. I ususally cut the package directions from the box and put them in the ziploc with the dry mix. Put about an inch of water in the bottom (larger) frying pan. We've not tried a bakepacker, but we have tried a "reflector oven" made from branches and aluminum foil (found the design in one of Cal Rutstrum's books). Oven results worked, but took an eternity.
