I'll admit that I was a little hesitant, at first. However, I've always been somewhat of a risk-taker. One bite and you'll be back for more. It's quite a delicacy.

I never thought about using roe for bait, but I'd bet it would be great if you could somehow prevent the little fish from nibbling it off the hook.

That creates a conundrum. Should I save the roe for dinner or use it to catch another fish?

If I needed to catch food to survive, then bait it would be. If I had enough food to survive, it would become a gourmet delight to be savored with some tasty filets.
