About the same time last year, it was warm and the trees where beginning to change colors. Water fowl had already migrated. Cross paths with very few people. No bugs. Plenty of grouse. Friend & I will be in the vicinity approximately the same time and can not wait. Best time to go! However, it is possible to experience rain or snow. Advice, be prepare for some cold weather. Fishing, only caught enough fish to feed ourselves. Canoeing and seclusion our primary interest.
