I took the Man Chain about 5 years ago. Very pretty trip and great Lake Trout fishing. One suggestion. The portage between No Man and That Man can be skipped if you take the creek between the two. We had normal water levels, so unless it is low I think you should be able to make it. Even our outfitter didn't know this was passable.
