A friend who I have gone with on the longer Agnes loops discouraged me from going this way. We have never had
any real problems locating portages on previous trips. He told me this one wasnt well marked and attempts at bushwacking stopped when his wife began crying after spending an hour or so trying to get through. Just wanted to reply to my own posting in case anyone else might consider this one. Would advise going farther north routes.
