The recent storms have downed trees across the Gunflint Trail. Voyageur Canoe Outfitters told us that travel was limited to Local Traffic Only - they say that means us, so we can legally get in. But, They also told us to bring portable lights for the bunkhouses, and to use our stoves if we want coffee in the bunkhouse. I'm not sure about breakfast packages - they might not have cooking available, since their generators are being used for freezers and other "emergency" requirements.
