I used to do a lot of musky fishing growing up in Wisconsin, and had pretty good success, but there are no musky in Quetico. Although it isn't quite the same as tying into a big musky, there are still some huge northerns left in some of the bigger lakes, and you can fish them the same way you fish musky. I've landed some big ones, lost some big ones, and seen others in my parties do the same. Those big northern can be pretty nasty when angry. We always release the big ones nowadays.
