I did some sounding last summer with my Vexilar LC-10. I photocopied the lakes I was interested in, blew up the areas I was most interested, and then laminated them. I took a sharpie marker and wrote depths on the map as I fished along.

My best notes were on This Man Lake where I did the northeast end and Cheatan Bay. I found depths up to 115 feet and not much under 30. Most everything was 40-60 feet deep.

It was an eye opener.
