I like the 240 a lot as well. I mostly use it for cruising around and finding likely spots. It's easy to use and gives you a lot of information. I don't have a single complaint about it.

The LC-10 attaches via suction cup. I bought one when they first came out and they had 3 suction cups on a metal assembly. These tended to fall out of the assembly (not off the canoe) so I put duct tape on them to hold them on. Since then Vexilar sent me a re-designed metal bracket with one suction cup. Apparently they had a few complaints on the first design.

When my duct tape falls apart (if) I'll install what they sent me.
