I have a large 5 gallon sun shower, and a smaller 2 gallon. I think they even make a one gallon. Seems to me I've seen them in Campmor. I draped my large one across the bow of my boat while paddling the Everglades last winter and the water got fairly warm, natch. I guess heating it is probably your best bet in May up north. On another note, we ran into some NOLS people who had these huge, huge bladders in the bottom of their boats for drinking water. They were complaining that the water was getting warm from being in the sun all day.. They were using "donated" milk bladders from Burger King milk dispensers and they were very durable and very light weight. Like a space blanket sort of material. You might want to check it out if there's any free space on the bottom of your boat. Just a thought.
