Have some fish

Go ahead and eat your fill of fish while you are there Bob, it's plenty safe enough to do so. The levels of both in the water are pretty much nill. What happens is the collect on the bottom of the lakes where they then enter the food chain.

I see that another has posted some excellent links about mercury and pcb's. They are both dangerous because they can build up in the flesh of the fish and pass it along to us if we ate enough of them. Mercury is the worst of the lot because it's damage is caused by accumulation in the body and is almost impossible to remove!

However, it would take a lot of fish on a regular basis over a long period of time to collect enough to do yourself damage. Everything in moderation.
