Our outfitter told us there were 19 injuries caused by the storms. Worst was crushed legs - falling trees.

I live in Indiana and am familiar with winds/storms like these. Even straight line winds are killers. We had some (3) stroms while in the woods last week - seems to me they're more intense this year than times past, but I could just be getting old. Still, we couldn't get out of the tent during the storm last Thursday night - it would have visited Quebec if we had.
