We just got back from our trip a couple of weeks ago and it was great. We had very few problems for our first trip to the BWCA. we stayed the first night at Kawasaschong and had bears at out site the first day, we had our packs hung up away from camp and hadn't even eaten there one loud yell scared him away and he stayed away all night. The next morning we found old droppings near the site. it seems we were in his territory. We stayed the rest of the time on polly and had a great time. exellent weather and scenery, although there were more people there than i expected. We caught many walleyes and northerns , returned most , but ate a few.
