I attempted a solo trip that same week last year at the last minute when by buddy backed out. Due to an artic front, highs were in the mid 30's with strong winds and occasional rain. Decided it was to dangerous to be alone on big water by myself and hired a fishing guide while staying at a lodge. Weather warmed up after I left.
