Not only did we run into a warden. We did it twice! We moved to another campsite the next day and they came paddling up to us again. They didn't even bother to check if our partners had gotten rid of their leeches. (they had) Even though we got the ticket, I would have to say they treated us fairly. She could have ticketed us for not having our licenses/permits on us but instead they paddled with us back to our camp to check them out. And no, our outfitter didn't pay our fine. I knew that it wasn't legal, I should have followed the law.
