I'm curious as to the type of footwear the tripper's use. The trips I lead are a combination, bust out and travel for 1-2 days and then rest and fish. When we are traveling, we don't care what the conditions are, we get out in the water, put everything on our backs and GO! Some people in the group use military boots because they drain. Others use hiking boots and hope they dry every couple of days. I've read where some people use the LLBean boot with the rubber bottom and leather upper, but is it a problem drying our the knee boots if you go over the top as we sometimes do? That's my quandary every year. Posted by Bushy on July 19, 2000 at 14:15 In reply to: New mini survey posted by db on July 17, 2000 at 11:57 |
