Re: Alone in the Forest

Hey hey, here's an idea; get yourself a harmonica and carry it with you - when you're driving to work, etc., and start to teach yourself how to play it. It isn,t as hard to do as it might seen!!! Start by practicing a couple of notes consecutively, then build up until you can play a basic (diatonic) scale, (do-re-mi), backwards and forewards. Keep practicing the scale, then learn to vary the sounds with a variety of breathing/mouthing techniques. soon you'll be able to play a few simple songs. Keep at it, and before long you'll be playing it very well indeed!! Also, get some good music to listen to and make yourself a few cassette tapes to take along with a walkman and spare AA's. I know there's a weight penalty, but the right music, at the right time, is like finding gold!! I'd suggest some Western music- Real Western music-such as some sound track music by Ennio Morricone; (The Mission, For A Few Dollars More, Once Upon A Time In The West, The Good, The Bad & The Ugly!!!!); or Duane Eddy's "Theme For Doing Something Important", or the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band's "Uncle Charlie","Symphonion Dream", Mike Nesmith has some great stuff, or Mike Oldfield's "QE-2", or countless others!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
