I just got back from an 8 day trip into the Carp Lake area and have started planning next years trip. Myself, CowboyKevin, Pike Dancer, and Bear Stroker had some Pretty weather, nice fishing, and a great campsite on Sheridan.
Got to see the northern lights for the first time in 5 trips to the Q. I got up at 0400 Hrs to check out the Persiod meteors and saw the lights. Kinda looked like I was looking through a translucent curtain that shimmered, and danced across the sky. I just layed out on the rocks and took it all in.
The Dancer and Stroker are first timers, and they now understand why Cowboy and I have been back so many times.
Now for my question: Next year we plan on bringing some 13 & 14 year olds along for a first trip to the Q. Does anyone have information on the Sunday Lake area fishing. We want to do some paddling but keep it a relatively easy trip to a base camp, then do some day trips from there into ajoining lakes.
