June is prettier, and sees less traffic. If it's still cool there are no bugs. You're in for trouble when it warms up though. By July the bugs are usually better and fishing is more predictable but I'd hesitate to call it better.

Just imagine the hearty souls who are up there now. brrrrrrr! But I bet the morning mist is a sight to behold. The best part is - they have it all to themselves.
