I agree. If it's real cold or rainy I do the same. Mine is silver mylar.(?) It covers the tent floor and then some, weighs nothing, and packs to the size of my fist. (Or nothing if I just leave it in the tent.) Probably the best two bucks I ever spent on camping gear. As an added bonus it reflects light around the tent too. The only draw backs are it's a little noisy and makes me feel like Will Robinson from "Lost in Space."
