we did the Fred to Poo bah portages through Bernice and Allan last June. They were not cleaned at all. There were many deadfalls across the portages, and the trails were extremely swampy. If you are interested in Bernice and Allen it would be a good choice. Otherwise for an exit to Twin Falls I would choose Sturgeon on my next trip and spend more time on Veron for the excellent walleye fishing.
