I agree with the other post, you might be pushing it.

If you have good weather and good paddlers, 8 days sounds easy, but if you have any wind or weaker paddlers, it might not be enough.

We typically travel 12-15 miles a day, but that is with 2 strong paddlers and single tripping portages.
When my son saw younger, 10-12(?), we had to wait 6 hrs for the wind to die down, with my earlier partner or him now, we'd of just paddled on.
