Motors are allowed on Lac La Croix so you can get towed to Wegwagum Bay. But no motors are allowed in the Quetico interior with the exception of the Lac La Croix Indian guides which can use motors on 10 lakes. Sturgeon is not one of the lakes. You would have to paddle up the maligine river to get to Sturgeon.
