Soho is a pretty long lake, but it only has about two good campsites on it due to the high banks. Both are about in the middle, one on the north and one on the south. The Southern campsie is a beautiful setting in virgin pines and a nice sandy beach. But it has bugs out the wazoo. The Northern site is on an almost island up on a hill. It is a b---- to get in and out of due to the rocks and slick moss. But since it is up on a hill it is relatively bug free. We caught a few lake trout by trolling Cicada's ( a sort of sppon type lure) in front of the northern campsite. But it was May, later they are probably down deep. We did VERY well on smallmouth and walleye, scattered all over. Oddly enough, it was one of the few times that we had Walleye hit on the surface! If you pulled a 6" Rapala along just barely under the surface they would annihlate it. Smallmouth hit pretty much anyhing, so long as you used light line and long casts. (The lake is real clear)
