Hi Phil, I don't know where Entry 14 is but I do know Lac La Croix and the surrounding area very well. First of all, be very careful on La Croix. The white horses can really dance if the wind comes up. I would recommend Takucmich for most species, a short portage to Tesaker for Large Mouth, Gun Lake has good Lake Trout, Trygg for Brookies. If you portage from Takucmich to La Croix, all along that area to the West is good. There are 7 or 8 reefs that come up from deep water and hold good quantities of smallies, walleye, and northerns. Stay just South of 41 Island and check out all the small islands through there. There is a small bay just North of Trygg (on the La Croix side). My son hooked and landed Moby Dick in there (40 inch Northern).
