One of those responses that could be hogwash...
However, one of my best Northern fishing days was
on Trident - camped on the point furthest away from
the portage. We caught nothing on Frog (nearest) but
actually got tired of catching northerns on Trident.
...Don't tell anyone else...... Hogwash deal was that
this was in 1976. But.... you never know. I still have
the dardevele completely devoid of paint from those Trident
northerns. May the wind be with you my friend.
