Ouch! First I was a laughingstock and now I'm borderline retarded. Too late now to send it back? Or am I doomed to a reputation of electronic overkill in the wilderness just for having considered bringing a locator?
For sure I will keep it out of sight, because I would hate for somebody laughing too hard falling over themselves on a portage. And you can bet I'll be getting my share of laughs at some other poor schmuck's expense. And with everybody laughing, they'd not be enough portaging and then nobody would get any fishing done.
