I go to Knife Lake quite regularly, maybe you just explained the times I've heard a rumble like distant thunder on a sunny day. It seems to happen pretty regularly. Either the still is needing to be drained or the intake to the hydro-electric plant is getting blocked. I better stop at her Island and do a more thorough investigation. I will probably want to bring along my snorkle and mask since those intakes have got to be in some deep water.
