I was told the story of Muskeg Molly by my cousin and guide in Quetico. He said that a long time ago, a woman and her husband from Atikokan, Ontario used to go on trips to Quetico quite often. On one trip, her husband supposedly went over some falls and died. The people of Atikokan blamed her for his death and she became an outcast. It's said that she now resides within the boundaries of Quetico and that she'll sometimes set up camps for groups while they're off doing something else; or that she'll cook dinner for them while they're exploring, etc. Is this true????
