Bushwackers Jamboree 2005

I have heard from a few of you regarding this idea. Here it is again...
I am inviting fellow Bushwackers to join me on a remote Quetico -NO-NAME- lake. Some questions this has brought up have gone along the lines of who, what, where, when, why etc. I'll try to answer these.
WHO:
Whoever reserves their permits in time and is tough enough to get there. I'll be there alone or with a friend.
WHAT:
Just a gathering of people to exchange bushwacking stories and to check out the fishing and one more lake.
WHERE:
I will reveal that in 2004. It will be a very remote, no-name lake in the middle of Quetico. (with no portages to it)
WHEN:
Probably mid June (when bugs are bad and voyagers are also) 2005.
WHY:
Because I can never quench my thirst to see another lake.
WHY (for you):
To meet Stumpy.
Who is Stumpy?
I am the guy who's been to Dettbarn and beyond. Our last canoe trip we went from Prarie Portage to Cutty Lake our first day with standard weight Grummans and canvas packs. We set up camp in daylight.
I've been canoeing Quetico every year since 1975 and been to over 400 lakes. I haven't worn bug repellent since 1976. I have many stories to tell, but clicking on the internet does not make you worthy to hear them. The strict webmaster has banned me from the portage database because I called the Delahey-Conmee portage easy or maybe because my description of Delahay was that it was "wet" (can't take a joke). My thirteen year old niece truthfully said "The poacher portage was easy." This was her opinion and he could not relate...I guess. Actually I'm a nice guy. Hope to meet others like me in 2005. Thanks,
Stumpy
