I don't care how much block and tackle you have, if one person can haul it up, then you are living a far too Spartan existence in the wild. Getting there, fighting the bugs and some of the other challenges are enough to warrant a heavy food pack loaded with luxury items you'd never eat at home because.....you can't justify it. Once in the woods, you may as well eat everything you brought so you don't have to carry it out. So splurge to the tune of about 40-50 lbs. of the good stuff.
