I am interested in making a similar trip. I plan on starting on French Lake and follow the same path as you except take the Falls Chain to Saganagons to Silver Falls (North to South Trip). I am interested in the same info you were seeking before you started your trip. If you have the time I would like to know about the portages, camp sights and entry info on French Lake.
