Re: Wooden Ships on the Water ... Anybody Taken a Cedar Stripper into the Wilderness?

My uncle made his stripper after seeing one on the top of a car. It was his first trip to Quetico and we all thought he was just "talking" when he said he was going to make his own. His 18' canoe is lighter than my 17' aluminum. I carried them both.

The caone did get banged up, but heck, the whole country is rock. Polish it up when you get home and it is ready for more.

This year I will be sporting my own stripper with the help of my uncle.
