White Otter is no diferent than the boundary waters area. Lots of canoes plus some motorboats. The main difference is that there is more moving water so you must be comfortable running some whitewater. Woodland Caribou certainly is more remote. Being self-outfitted in most of these parks outside of Quetico/BWCA is almost essential. Check out this link for Woodland Caribou:

Good reading. Wabakimi offers some very remote areas, and the local outfitters can take care of everything for you. Cost may be a factor because plane or train are the main ways to get in. There are tons of areas on crown land that are overlooked, and much less used than Quetico/BWCA. Just have to do some homework.
