Re: SMALLIES

Pretty big words from one who logs-on as "Schmegma". I assume the delay in your response was due to you trying to locate your local library in search of a thesaurus. Perhaps you should have checked out a dictionary for that spell check and word definition as well.

"Low Impact" That must be on of those terms coined by environmentalist. I'll assume it means stewardship. You see, by definition, if "low impact" is followed to its logical end and practicing "lower impact" is the higher good, then one should not inhabit areas where practicing "low impact" is virtuous. Even if you could levitate, one would practice "lower impact" by not going. Stewardship, on the other hand, allows one to use, with self-control and common sense, those same areas. Therefore, I see "stewardship's" end in responsibility while "low impact" ends in relativism.

To answer your question however. . .I pack out what I pack in. I leave firewood for the next camper. I bury my post-breakfast dump in a 10-12 inch cat hole. I wash myself and my crockery at least 150 feet from the waters edge. I only catch what I can eat. I drink whiskey. I roll my own smokes. I listen to 80's rock and roll. I love my wife and I'm damn good at cribbage.
