Our canoe gear is always packed & ready to go, so it is just a matter of deciding which river we are going to run. A new tradition has been to pick up a few cans of Mongoose Malt Liquor on the way in, and let them get good & warm. Then right before we hit the water we all share trying to choke the vile brew down, not leaving until it is gone. It certainly inhibits any craving for a beer for a period of up to 8 days and makes the whiskey taste that much better.
