You may be one of the few responsilble people with an outboard. Having been nearly run down a number of times I don't like the idea of mixing motors and paddles. I don't mind a number of lakes being available to motors as long as there are ways for canoeists to avoid them. A couple bottles of beer and an outboard throttle make for dangerous situations both for the operator and anyone downrange.
