I found some nice bluegills several years ago in a lake just north of Malberg. It was either Kivaniva or Kivandeba (whichever is the southernmost of those two lakes). My maps aren't handy just now, but I know for a fact it was the southernmost of the two. While catching them, I came about as close to hypothermia as I've ever come, so they WILL bite, even during a cold rain.
